ITT to Move Caesars World HQ: The New York-based company said it will close its Caesars World headquarters in Los Angeles and move its gaming operations to Las Vegas. ITT Corp.--which recently said it would split into three publicly traded insurance, industrial and lodging and entertainment companies--said the decision is part of a consolidation effort to further increase growth, profitability and staff efficiencies. The move is expected to save the company as much as $30 million a year. ITT said it has also named Peter Boynton to head the company’s newly centralized gambling operations, which will combine its ITT Sheraton and Caesars World gambling interests.
