Ingram Micro Names Financial Services Director

* Lino Martin has been appointed senior director of financial services and U.S. treasurer for Ingram Micro Inc., a Santa Ana wholesale distributor of microcomputer products. Martin was previously with Beckman Instruments for 10 years, most recently as assistant treasurer, and before that, was senior staff accountant for Ernst & Whinney for three years.

* Hal Harley, Randy Orbach and Chris Walters have been named vice presidents for Mellon Private Asset Management in Newport Beach. They will be responsible for investment management and trust sales. Harley previously worked with Tokai Bank in Orange County and Union Bank in Los Angeles. Orbach was formerly at Union Bank in Irvine, and before that, at Drexel, Burnham, Lambert in Newport Beach. Before joining Mellon, Walters was with Sanwa Bank in Los Angeles and Merrill Lynch in Orange County.

* Harold S. Schultz Jr. has been elected treasurer of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Schultz is managing partner of Coopers & Lybrand’s Newport Beach office.
