Brea-Based Krause’s Furniture Names Chief Financial Officer

* Dee Panah has been appointed chief financial officer and vice president of finance for Krause’s Furniture Inc., the Brea owner of Krause’s Sofa Factory, a retailer and manufacturer of made-to-order upholstered furniture. He succeeds Mark J. Gill, who left Krause’s to pursue other business interests. Panah was formerly chief financial officer for Beverly Furniture Manufacturing. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and general manager for the Marge Carson division of Masco Corp., a manufacturer of residential furnishings.

* Scott Tanner has been named to the newly created position of manager, partnership marketing for the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. Tanner joined Disneyland in 1992 as manager of promotions.

* Richard C. Murray has been appointed vice president with the property management division of First American Trust Co. in Newport Beach. Murray, who joined the company in 1982, had been a property manager prior to his new appointment.

* Janet Clancy has joined Ingram Micro Inc., a Santa Ana wholesale distributor of microcomputer products, as senior director of marketing services. Clancy was previously director of marketing for the Arden Group Inc., and before that, was with Citicorp for five years.

* John Hesser has been selected vice president and chief operating officer of Hyundai Motor Finance Co. in Fountain Valley. Prior to joining the company, he was vice president of First Bank Systems in Chicago. Hesser has also held several senior level positions in the automotive financing area, including Security Pacific Automotive Credit, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp., Volkswagen Credit Inc. and Ford Motor Credit Co.

* Terry Thompson has been named vice president, management and operations, for the management services division of Lincoln Property Co. in Irvine. He will be responsible for coordinating management operations and activities for Lincoln’s Southern California portfolio of more than eight million square feet of commercial property. Thompson joined the company in 1990 from Bedford Properties Inc., where he was a project coordinator for its commercial division.

* Kimberly Crystal Bearce has been selected director of corporate accounts for National Contracts Inc., a Rancho Santa Margarita consulting company. Before joining the company, she was director of marketing for the medical-surgical and laboratory program at Cohr Inc.’s Purchase Connection in Los Angeles.

* Mark E. Irwin has been appointed vice president of Mission Energy Co. in Irvine, with responsibility for fuels and U.S. assets. Irwin joined the company, a subsidiary of SCEcorp, in 1987 as a project analyst. He has also served as project director, manager of acquisitions and manager of asset management.
