Renaissance Golf Products Inc.: The Huntington Beach golf products and golf accessories company, doing business as Fila Golf, reported a net loss of $397,000, or 7 cents a share, for the second quarter, compared with a net loss of $630,000, or 14 cents a share, for the like period last year. Revenue declined 35% to $1.7 million from $2.6 million. The company incurred a net loss of $996,000, or 18 cents a share, for the first half, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $1.5 million, or 34 cents a share. Revenue dropped 17% to $2.9 million from $3.5 million. The company said the revenue declines were mainly due to the unavailability of additional financing required for to increase inventories for golf bag orders.
