For dedicated gardeners, here are suggestions from the California Assn. of Nurserymen on what to do in the garden this week:

* Plant cyclamen tubers now for bloom November through April.

* Fertilize lawns and roses as well as other shrubs, flowers and vegetables at six week intervals during the summer.

* Watering is important during the summer months, but avoid the mistake of watering in the evening when fungus spores can attach to damp blades.
