Sports Agent Appointed to Interplay Productions Board

* Sports agent Leigh Steinberg has been named to the board of directors of Interplay Productions in Irvine. Steinberg represents scores of top athletes, including pro quarterbacks Troy Aikman, Steve Young, Warren Moon, Drew Bledsoe and Jeff George. His primary role at Interplay will be in consulting with the software developer and distributor and its new sports division, VR Sports, to retain key team, league, player and sport association licenses. Steinberg is a sports attorney with the law firm of Steinberg & Moorad.

* Tony Toth has been appointed convention sales director for the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau. He has been with the bureau for three years as manager of tourism development. Before that, he was with Sea World and Pacific Coast Sightseeing. In his new position, Toth will oversee regional, state and corporate markets. He succeeds Nancy Ghio, who moves to handling national accounts.
