A Turn for the Worse
I’m happy that former President George Bush is enjoying his active retirement (“Doing the Retirement Thing,” by Martin Kasindorf, June 23). However, if, as pictured on the cover, Mr. Bush makes a habit of turning his head in such an ungodly manner while fishing--or doing anything else, for that matter--he must suffer from a stiff neck most of the time. Not many of us, unless we’re possessed by demons, can place our chin over a shoulder, and I’m sure Mr. Bush doesn’t need an exorcist.
