Disneyland Reaches Pact With Unions: Despite being far apart last week, negotiators for the Anaheim theme park and five unions that represent about 3,000 workers there reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract. It provides for a 3% pay increase for all workers in each of the next three years. The Disneyland unions also successfully fended off company attempts to alter promotion rules, and the two sides settled differences over whether workers can take their uniforms home--a prickly issue during the talks. The tentative pact is expected to be approved by members this week.
