Jerry Hartman; MCA/Universal Executive

Jerry Hartman, 43, executive for the home video and pay television divisions of MCA/Universal. Hartman had recently served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for Universal Pay Television, a position he took in 1985. He joined the company in 1981 as vice president of marketing of MCA Home Marketing Group. Hartman previously worked for several advertising agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi. He was an active supporter of AIDS Project Los Angeles. On Aug. 20 in Los Angeles.
