Reseda 17, North Hollywood 12--Armone Lochard rushed for 110 yards, including 106 in the first half for the Regents (3-1, 1-0) at Reseda. Included was a 74-yard scoring run in the second quarter.
North Hollywood’s Dante Clay played despite a leg injury and gained 119 of his 130 yards in the second half to rally the Huskies (0-3-1, 0-1).
Clay scored on a six-yard run with 8:06 left to pull the Huskies to within a touchdown. North Hollywood was driving on its next possession when Clay was stripped of the ball by Buddy Frederich at the Reseda 40 with 3:30 remaining.
The Huskies held defensively, but were called for roughing punter Tom Gutierrez on fourth and 10 with 2:48 left, giving the Regents a fresh set of downs.
