MOORPARK : Seminar to Address Youths’ College Cares
A class that will teach teen-agers what to look for in higher education will be held Oct. 11 in Moorpark.
Called “College Match,” the Moorpark Community Services Department class will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center at 4550 Tierra Rejada Road.
The free workshop, for youths ages 12 to 17, also will feature a professional counselor who will be able to help students fill out college forms and answer questions and concerns.
Preregistration is recommended. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Friday at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center, or by phone at 531-9100.
