At 14, she has established herself as one of the top high school players in the region. She is ranked 22nd by the Southern California Tennis Assn. in the 14-and-under age bracket. Her three losses came against players ranked nationally by the United States Tennis Assn.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Galido won 54 of 59 games in nine sets to lead Chaminade to victories over Notre Dame, 16-2, Simi Valley, 18-0, and Alemany, 16-2.
