Writer’s Film Project Extends Deadline
The Writer’s Film Project has extended the deadline for application to Oct. 15.
Founded in 1990 by Chesterfield Film Co. partners Ken Orkin and Kevin Kennedy, the WFP attempts to build a bridge between the motion picture industry and fiction, theater and other writers who want to pursue a career in screenwriting.
The yearlong WFP workshop has awarded nearly $800,000 in fellowships.
Each writer selected for the project will write two feature screenplays while meeting regularly with industry professionals.
