The Retiring Type: Retirement planning for people of all ages and income levels will be the subject of a daylong conference Saturday at the UCLA Sunset Village Conference Center on the UCLA campus. “Retirement Expo 1995” is sponsored by the Los Angeles Society of Certified Financial Planners and UCLA Extension Department of Business & Management. It will feature 24 seminars and opportunities for individual retirement planning. Seminar topics will include: what to expect from Social Security; retirement concerns for single women and widows; investing on a fixed income; planning for long-term care; living trusts, and reverse mortgages. Forty exhibitors will be on hand, including banks, mutual funds, insurance companies, stockbrokers, financial planners and annuity companies.
