Seminars for Entrepreneurs: The first class in a four-class series will meet from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 17 at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Santa Monica. “In Search of Equity Financing” will feature a panel of experts discussing how to raise money. Business and the Internet: “How to Make Money on the Internet” is the topic of a Nov. 10 seminar sponsored by the Professionals Network Group. Ivan Rosenberg, founder of Business Information Solutions, and a panel of experts will discuss how the Internet can benefit business owners. Keeping Customers: A round-table discussion on customer retention will take place Oct. 27. The USC School of Business Administration’s Center for Operations Management Education and Research is the host. Executives from Xerox Production Systems, Trader Joe’s, Vons Corp. and California Lutheran Homes will speak at the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $200, or $150 a person for groups of three or more from the same company.
