SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : Names Selected for 3 New Schools
Officials have chosen names for three future schools in Aliso Viejo, Coto de Caza and Las Flores.
The Aliso Viejo campus, which is slated for a September, 1996, opening, will be known as Oak Grove Elementary School. The school is at Sanborn and Wood Canyon Drive.
The Coto de Caza school will be known as Wagon Wheel Elementary School because of its proximity to Wagon Wheel Canyon Regional Park.
The Las Flores campus for grades K-8 will be called Las Flores School, and it is planned for Antonio and Oso parkways.
The latter two schools have tentative opening dates of September, 1997, but only if the necessary state funds are available, said Dave Doomey, executive director of facilities planning for the Capistrano Unified School District.
