Smartflex Systems Inc.: The Tustin provider of electronic manufacturing services reported net income of $1.7 million, or 29 cents a share, for the third quarter, 88% higher than the $880,000, or 20 cents a share, recorded for the like 1994 period. Revenue increased 64% to $33 million from $20.1 million. Nine-month profit doubled from the year-earlier period, to $3.6 million, or 75 cents a share, from $1.8 million, or 41 cents a share. Revenue was up 48% to $85.2 million from $57.5 million. The company completed an initial public offering in July.
