ALBUM REVIEWS
** 1/2 Collin Raye, “I Think About You,” Epic. The smoky-voiced singer remains country’s warm, fuzzy teddy bear, yet he punches up his third album with a few songs that confound expectations. Two venture into social commentary, and another (“Not That Different”) bravely forsakes Nashville’s fixation on romantic fantasies. An intriguing stab at something that is a little different.
New albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
