Kern Valley 28, Paraclete 20--Ben Cox intercepted a pass to stop a potential game-winning drive by Paraclete (3-4, 0-2) in the final two minutes, preserving the victory for Kern Valley (7-0, 2-0) at Antelope Valley College.

Cox also had a 65-yard interception return for a touchdown at the end of the first half.
