Pimco Advisors L.P.: The Newport Beach investment management organization reported third-quarter net income of $17.1 million, or 29 cents per Class A limited partnership and general partner unit, up from $13.5 million, or 27 cents a unit, a year ago. Revenue climbed 26.1% to $83.2 million from $66 million. In the first nine months, net income rose to $44.4 million, or 81 cents per unit, from $41 million, or 81 cents per unit, in the same period last year. Revenue totaled $229.8 million, up 14.6% from $200.5 million.
