Arnold Can Have Army, Not Recruit
A dinner with Arnold Palmer resulted in an NCAA sanction against Tiger Woods, the Stanford golfing standout and two-time U.S. Amateur champion.
Palmer picked up the check, a violation of NCAA rules. However, Woods’ eligibility was restored after he agreed to reimburse Palmer, according to Golf World.
“I was pretty angry,” Woods said. “I didn’t do anything wrong.”
Perhaps you should have left a tip, Tiger, and the ever-vigilant NCAA might have backed off.
