Pedestrian Injured in Laguna Traffic
LAGUNA BEACH — Police are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run accident on Coast Highway on Monday evening that left a pedestrian in critical condition after she was struck by as many as three vehicles.
The unidentified woman, who is about 30 years old, was struck by southbound traffic at Coast Highway and 3rd Street in South Laguna about 6 p.m. Monday, Laguna Police Officer Greg Walloch said. She carried no identification.
The woman received major injuries and was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, where a nursing supervisor said she was in critical condition.
