Man Slain by Store Clerk in Alleged Robbery Attempt
A store clerk in Westchester shot to death a man who allegedly attempted to rob him Friday, authorities said.
The shooting occurred about 5:45 p.m. in the 6200 block of West Manchester Avenue, police said.
The man died at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital, said Sgt. Won Chu of the Los Angeles Police Department. Further details were not immediately available.
