Seniors Julie Levy and Janny Tsai have a 54-0 record as South Hills’ No. 1 doubles team, and it has helped the undefeated Huskies to be top-seeded in the Southern Section Division V girls’ tennis playoffs. South Hills (18-0) has reached the playoff semifinals the last three years under Coach Kelly Bridgman and has three strong singles players in Audrey Lee, Alecia Lawson and Hailey Russell. . . . Rowland, the defending Southern Section Division VI champion in water polo, has a school-record 22-game winning streak going into today’s first-round playoff game against Downey. The Raiders are 26-1 and have broken their school record for goals with 493 and goals allowed with 178. . . . Jonathan Chambers scored a touchdown and passed for another and Lamont Flemming added a fourth-quarter touchdown run to lead Marshall to its first football victory of the season, 24-11, over Western Christian.
