It’s a normal November for Houston.
The victories kept adding up as Indiana stumbled and fumbled in the fourth quarter and the two-time defending NBA champion Rockets continued their November mastery by defeating the Pacers, 115-108, at Indianapolis.
Mario Elie led eight double-figure scorers for the Rockets with 18 points.
Houston capitalized on eight Indiana turnovers in the fourth quarter in its seventh consecutive victory to reach 10-1 this month. Houston is 34-4 in the last three Novembers.
Reggie Miller led Indiana with 24 points.
NBA Notes
Team doctors examined the injured right ankle of Seattle SuperSonic guard Gary Payton, but there was no immediate word on how long he will be out. Payton, injured Wednesday at Minnesota, will be examined again today after the swelling subsides.
