YORBA LINDA : Knife-Wielding Bandit Holds Up Gas Station
Police were searching Friday for a man who robbed a service station of an undisclosed amount of cash at knifepoint.
The robbery occurred at 11 p.m. Thursday at the Unocal station in the 19800 block of Esperanza Road, in an unincorporated part of the county, Sheriff’s Lt. Rich Paddock said.
The robber entered the service station store and purchased some cigarettes.
As the clerk was ringing up the purchase, the man brandished a knife, demanded money and fled with an undisclosed sum, Paddock said.
