Record Profit for Bridgford Foods
Bridgford Foods Corp. posted record profit on higher sales for the fiscal year ended Nov. 3, the producer of convenience food products said Thursday.
Net income rose 8% to $6.6 million, or 70 cents a share, from $6.1 million, or 65 cents a share, for the prior year. Sales increased 3% to $112.5 million from $108.9 million.
Profit for the fourth quarter rose 5% to $2 million, or 22 cents a share, from $1.9 million, or 20 cents a share, for the corresponding period last year. Sales were up 11% to $31.4 million from $28.4 million.
