Magic update--The Magic was an NBA-best 39-2 at home last season and is 15-0 this season. Having won its last seven last season, it has won 22 in a row at home, the league’s longest current streak. Orlando was 18-5 without Shaquille O’Neal, 5-1 since his return. O’Neal, Penny Hardaway and Dennis Scott are averaging 20 points a game or more. In the first meeting at the Sports Arena, Hardaway had 38 in a 114-105 Magic victory.

Clipper update--They have won three of four, including victories in two of their last three on the road. Brian Williams, on the roll of his five-year pro career with 99 points and 58 rebounds in five games, will be facing the team that drafted him in 1991 and traded him to Denver in 1993. Since O’Neal joined the Magic, the Clippers are 0-3 in Orlando, losing by margins of 17, 12 and 11 points.
