For Ice Dogs, 7-1 Disaster

PEORIA, Ill. — Doug Evans had a power-play goal and four assists as the Peoria Rivermen routed the Ice Dogs, 7-1, in the International Hockey League Saturday night.
Eric Murano scored two goals and two assists as the Rivermen handed the Ice Dogs their worst loss of the season.
For the second time in two games, the Ice Dogs gave up a season-high four goals in one period to start the game.
In the second, they were held to a season-low two shots.
Patrik Augusta scored the lone goal for the Ice Dogs at 3:26 of the third to prevent the shutout.
