Youth : News for the 18-and-under crowd : Golfers Chip In for DARE Program
Golfers in David L. Baker’s men’s club have donated $1,400 from a tournament to the Police Department’s DARE program.
The tournament was played in memory of one of its most distinguished members, Jack Loveland. Tournament proceeds were matched by Loveland’s widow, Betty.
The $2,800 donation is being used for drug-awareness education.
