Doris Grau; Actress; Did Voice-Overs

Doris Grau, 71, Hollywood veteran who recently did voice-overs for television’s “The Simpsons” and the motion picture “Babe.” A native of Brooklyn, she moved to Los Angeles in her teens and became a script supervisor at Columbia Pictures. Later she moved into acting, appearing on “Cheers” and “The Tracey Ullman Show.” Switching to voice-overs, she worked on animated series including Doris the makeup lady in “The Critic” and Doris the lunch lady in “The Simpsons.” On Dec. 30 in Los Angeles of respiratory failure.
