Colleagues of departing City Clerk Wanda E. Raggio will pay tribute to her next week for 15 years of service.

Raggio, 56, whose last day is Wednesday, is retiring to care for her ailing husband. “When he gets better we plan to do some traveling,” she said.

Before coming to Newport Beach in November 1980, the Pasadena native was city clerk in Lakewood, San Juan Capistrano and Rosemead. “I saved the best for last,” she said.
