Reception to Mark Art Gallery’s 5th Year
The Thousand Oaks Community Gallery will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a reception Feb. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The gallery is inside the former Ralphs market service deli building on the corner of Michael Drive and Borchard Road. The building was purchased by the city and transformed into a branch library and art gallery in 1991.
The gallery, run by volunteers, provides space for exhibitions by local nonprofit visual arts groups and is overseen by the Thousand Oaks Arts Commission. The city charges no rent for use of the gallery.
The anniversary will also be celebrated with a concert on Feb. 18 at 2 p.m.
