Shaw Leads Buena Brigade Over Rival Ventura, 73-63
Senior center Ceneka Shaw scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Buena High to a 73-63 victory over cross-town rival Ventura in a Channel League game Friday night at Ventura College.
The Bulldogs (11-5, 6-1 in league play) used a balanced attack as five players reached double figures. Guards Gerard Bolden and Mike Golden each scored 12 points. John Tobias added 11 and Ryan Howery had 10.
Glenn Dudley grabbed 12 rebounds for the Bulldogs.
Donte Lincoln scored 25 points and had nine rebounds, and Christian Gallagher added 13 points for Ventura (9-7, 4-3).
