Odetics Inc.: The Anaheim supplier of computer data management products and communications equipment recorded net income of $725,000, or 12 cents a share, for the third quarter ended Dec. 31. The company lost $3.3 million, or 55 cents a share, for the third quarter a year ago, which included a pretax charge of $4.4 million for loss reserves related to a dispute with a major customer.

Revenue increased 19% to $27.4 million from $23 million. Nine-month net income totaled $1.3 million, or 22 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $2.7 million, or 46 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 8% to $73.3 million from $68.1 million.
