Mary F. Bryant; Civic Activist
Mary F. Bryant, 53, a civic activist and owner of a popular Larchmont gathering spot. Born in Springfield, Mo., she graduated from the University of Wyoming. A resident of Los Angeles for more than 15 years, Bryant worked for Dino de Laurentiis’ film production company and the Los Angeles Philharmonic before becoming a partner in the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf shop on Larchmont Boulevard in 1990. She was a director of the Larchmont Boulevard Assn. and past treasurer of the Windsor Square-Hancock Park Historical Society. She also was an executive co-producer of the play “Waiting for the Parade” that had a successful run last year at the Commonwealth and Tiffany theaters. On Sunday in Los Angeles of breast cancer.
