‘Private Parts,’ the Film: Proclaiming himself “the new Jack Lemmon,” radio comedian Howard Stern announced on the air Tuesday that he will star in a movie adaptation of his best-selling 1993 autobiography “Private Parts.” Stern, who has been trying to get a movie off the ground for four years and reportedly rejected more than 20 earlier scripts, said the Paramount film will be produced by Ivan Reitman (“National Lampoon’s Animal House”), with Betty Thomas (HBO’s “The Late Shift”) directing from a screenplay by Len Blum (“Beethoven’s 2nd”). Reitman said the $20-million movie will go into production in May. Stern predicted that the comedy would gross $150 million domestically and earn him an Oscar nod.

Pudding Woman Walking: A day before she received her Oscar nomination for “Dead Man Walking,” Susan Sarandon resumed her cult idol status as co-star of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” The actress shimmied and shook to the 1975 movie’s popular “Time Warp” tune at Harvard University on Monday, where she was honored by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals as Woman of the Year. Flanked by two Harvard men in drag, Sarandon was driven through Harvard Square in a convertible in a procession led by a llama. “This has exorcised every ounce of nun I had left in me,” Sarandon said, referring to her “Dead Man Walking” role.
