Bergen Brunswig Subsidiary Wins Contract
ORANGE — A subsidiary of Bergen Brunswig Corp. has been named a prime vendor to distribute medical-surgical supplies to five domestic military regions and all U.S. military installations in Europe.
Bergen Brunswig said the contracts should generate $230 million over five years for the pharmaceutical company’s Durr Medical Corp. subsidiary.
The agreements were approved by the Defense Department’s personnel supply center, which purchases more than $3.4 billion in food, clothing and medical equipment for the military and other customers.
