Taitron Components Sales, Earnings Surge

Taitron Components Inc., a Santa Clarita distributor of electronic products, reported record sales and earnings for the year ended Dec. 31, 1995.

The company’s earnings more than doubled to $1.3 million in the last three months from $600,000 in the fourth quarter a year earlier.

Revenue in the latest quarter increased 26% to $9.1 million from $7.2 million in the fourth quarter a year ago.

Earnings for last year more than doubled to $4.3 million from $1.8 million in 1994. Revenues for 1995 were $35.9 million, up 46% from $24.6 million in 1994.

Taitron went public with an initial stock offering last April.
