Public Hearings Set on Parking, Antenna
City zoning officials will hold public hearings on a number of city permit applications next month, including a proposed parking lot in a Sunland residential zone and a proposed cellular telephone antenna in North Hollywood.
The hearings will be held either at the Sherman Oaks Woman’s Club, 4808 Kester Ave. in Sherman Oaks, or in Room 170, 201 N. Figueroa St. in downtown Los Angeles.
The applications include requests for:
* A conditional-use permit for a convalescent home to operate a 17-space parking lot on a residentially zoned lot at 10526 Sherman Grove Ave. in Sunland. The convalescent home also wants to add 17 rooms to its facility. The hearing will be held at 2 p.m. March 4 in Sherman Oaks.
* A ruling overturning a zoning administrator’s denial of a conditional-use permit to build a cellular telephone antenna on top of a two-story office building at 11650 Riverside Drive in North Hollywood. The hearing will be held at 9:45 a.m. March 5 in downtown Los Angeles.
