Michael Keeley
Re “Top Mayoral Aide Gets Vote of No Confidence,” April 24: I was disgusted by the feckless City Council’s posturing, in voting no confidence in Mayor Richard Riordan’s chief operating officer, Michael Keeley, by a vote of 10 to 3.
Here is a man who works tirelessly, at a tremendous cut in what was his private-sector pay, and whose every action has been for the benefit of us, the citizens of Los Angeles. Can the same be said for those 10 members of the City Council? I doubt it. No wonder it is so difficult to find quality professionals, like Keeley, who are willing to serve the city.
