Sunday Is Charity’s 26th WalkAmerica
Television star Melissa Gilbert is scheduled to greet participants at Sunday’s 26th Annual Walk-America, an event benefiting the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation.
Walkers may begin registering at 6:30 a.m. at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. The walk itself--a 6.2-mile trek around the Back Bay--will begin at 8:30.
