Woman Arrested in Drug Raid at Home
Ventura County sheriff’s deputies have arrested an Oak View woman suspected of drug dealing after authorities said they found marijuana valued at $22,000 and a small amount of methamphetamine in her home.
Terisa Ann Bozarth, 34, was booked into Ventura County Jail on Monday on suspicion of possessing drugs for sale. She is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Authorities said they had received complaints from neighbors about possible drug sales taking place at Bozarth’s home on Bundren Street.
Deputies obtained a search warrant and entered the suspect’s residence at about 6:45 p.m. where they found Bozarth alone. The Sheriff’s Department said deputies found 67 small bags, each containing half an ounce of marijuana along. Officials said deputies also found three one-pound bags of marijuana inside a tool chest in a bedroom.
Authorities said they found additional marijuana, a small amount of methamphetamine and $2,000 in cash elsewhere in the home.
Bozarth, who was arrested without incident, is scheduled to be arraigned today at 1:30 p.m.
