Minimum Wage
The criteria for minimum-wage levels should be based on need, not supply and demand like some commodity. If an employer needs an employee, the wage should be equal to a living wage.
That a country would claim to be the richest on Earth and not afford its citizens free health care, education and a living wage speaks of hypocrisy.

* I am for the minimum wage raise. I want to take it one step further. Let us have a maximum CEO salary. No more than $1 million, which includes bonus, stocks, perks, etc. If the employees receive a raise, then the CEO will receive the same percentage.
