In a Division II wild-card game:

Villa Park 4, Brea Olinda 3--Ean White drove in his second run with a double in the third inning, scoring Evan McGinnis with the fourth run for visiting Villa Park (15-10-1). The Spartans, who tied for second in the Century League, advanced to play Downey Warren in the first round Friday. Brea, runner-up in the Orange League, finished 14-12.

In Division III:

Pacifica 8, Pico Rivera El Rancho 1--Jimmy Barndollar hit a two-run homer and finished the game three for four with three RBIs for Pacifica. Adam Peters pitched a complete game for the Mariners (15-9-1), who will play at Irvine in a first-round game.

Santa Margarita 1, Costa Mesa 0--Eric Brown scored the only run on a sacrifice fly by Randell Shelley after reaching base on an error. The Eagles (15-10) will play at Walnut in the first round. Costa Mesa finished 15-10.
