Chatsworth Firm to Market New Blood Analysis Tool
International Remote Imaging Systems Inc., a Chatsworth maker of medical testing workstations, said it has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market a new diagnostic product that helps identify abnormal white blood cells.
The product, called the White IRIS leukocyte differential analyzer, saves lab workers time, and allows them to scan blood samples of people whose white blood cell levels are abnormal, which is not as easy with technology now in use, the company said.
