Pauline Hirsh Gallery Reopens With ‘Bridges’
After a two-year absence, the Pauline Hirsh Gallery--in the Jewish Federation Building at 6505 Wilshire Blvd.--has reopened under the auspices of the Los Angeles Jewish Federation.
Marcia Reines Josephy, has been appointed curator at the gallery.
The initial exhibition, through Aug. 11, is “Building Bridges: Israeli and Palestinian Artists Speak,” featuring 50 paintings and sculptures by six Israeli artists and six Palestinians who have been showing their work together since 1982.
The gallery is open Sundays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Mondays-Thursdays, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Fridays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
