Suzi Quatro’s “The Wild One; Classic Quatro,” Razor & Tie. (**)

One of the first authentic female rockers, Quatro influenced countless young women--including Joan Jett--to try on their rock ‘n’ roll shoes. Most of her British hits in the ‘70s were crafted by the writing-production team of Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn, whose credits also included hits for the Sweet. Quatro is perhaps best known here today for her role as Leather Tuscadero on “Happy Days.” Like that show, the music here is good-natured but severely dated.
