Cheesecake Factory Opens Another Chicago Eatery

The Cheesecake Factory Inc., a Calabasas restaurant company, said its has opened its second restaurant in Chicago, the 15th in the chain.
The company said it is also planning to open restaurants in Baltimore, Kansas City and Pasadena this year, and has signed a letter of intent to open a restaurant in the Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City next year.
The Cheesecake Factory has also signed leases or letters of intent to open restaurants next year in Denver, Las Vegas, Oak Brook, Ill., Dallas, Tyson’s Corner, Va., and Westbury, N.Y., and plans to develop and test a new chain of retail dessert stores at Los Angeles International Airport to be operated by Host Marriott.
