35 Suspected ‘Johns’ Arrested in Sweep
Thirty-five men suspected of solicitation were arrested in the latest Beach Boulevard anti-prostitution sweep, police announced Monday.
The Friday night operation, using undercover female officers, was in response to residents’ complaints about high-visibility prostitution along the busy boulevard, Police Lt. Jim Flammini said.
The arrested men were booked at the department’s detention facility pending bail and their vehicles were impounded, Flammini said.
